Many of the students live at this school during the week because they come from remote villages where there is no educational system.ADB is funding two additional laboratory rooms for the high school giving the students a better opportunity at a more advanced education. In addition to their education projects ADB has also invested massively in road systems making the commute from town to town much safer and faster. This is all part of the Second Upper Secondary Education Development Project in Ha Giang. The 1.5 million grant comes from ADB's Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction, funded by the Government of Japan, helping to expand learning opportunities for the youth of ethnic minority groups.
