Justin is an award winning documentary and commercial photographer born in Rhode Island, USA and based in Hanoi, Vietnam since 2005.

He studied photojournalism at San Francisco State University and during that time he won numerous awards for his work including the Greg Robinson Memorial Award given to the College Photographer of the Year for San Francisco and the Bay Area.

In 2008 his work on Agent Orange orphans was awarded the Morty Forscher Fellowship for humanistic photography given out by the Parson’s School of Design in NYC and was published in the PDN Annual Photography Awards Issue.  In 2007 he was awarded the prestigious Nikon Emerging Photographer Scholarship for the Missouri Photo Workshop.  Justin’s work has also been recognized by NPPA BOP, PDN Annual, SFBAPPA, Missouri School of Journalism COPY. His personal and NGO work has been exhibited in galleries worldwide.

Justin’ is a frequent contributor to The New York Times, and his editorial clients include Newsweek, TIME, National Geographic, Business Week, L’Express, GEO, Bloomberg News Service, The Independent, Der Spiegel, UNESCO, Medecins Sans Frontieres, The Asia Foundation, British Council, and Discovery Channel.
